Major Curriculum Reform Proposals

Potential Changes to the First Year Curriculum
The Curriculum Committee is currently exploring a number of ideas for changes to the first year curriculum. Two goals that have been driving the discussion at this time are a desire to increase the amount of legal research and writing that is taught in the first year and a desire to balance the credit loads between the first and second semesters of the first year. Three proposals are currently being discussed but no final decisions have been made regarding which, if any, of the proposal(s) will be submitted to the faculty for a vote. In an effort to collect student and faculty input on the various proposals an Aardvark was held on November 20, 2008 and a survey was sent out to students the week prior. Please see the links below for additional information on this issue and the results from the student surveys.
